Uncle Clay is always acting goofy! Wonder where Baylor gets it? And FYI...We didn't torture Tristan all day. There are pics of him having a great time in the lake splashing around and playing but my memory card got full so grandma got all the happy pics.

Foss Lake

We went to Foss Lake Sunday with the family! As you can see Tristan was not so sure about the life jacket. He just stared at all of us with this pathetic looking face until we stopped and let him play in the water! He did like watching the water as we moved across the lake but not well enough to smile at us.

Not to mention he hates this hat that I made him wear to keep the water out of his ears! Poor thing was really being mistreated!

1st 4th of July

We had a great 4th of July weekend! Tristan LOVED the fireworks. I was worried that he would get scared but he never even flinched at the sounds. He just sat there in awe of all the pretty lights. He is definitely Mommy's Little Firecracker!

It's amazing how he can make a holiday mean so much more to me than what it did last year. Everything seems so much more important and exciting with him here. Every time he has a new experience it's like my first time all over again. I can't imagine how boring my life must have been a little over 8 months ago!

He got tired watching the fireworks so we had to snuggle for a little while!

2/3 Thru His 1st Year :(

My baby boy is growing way to fast! He is already 8 months old. His bathroom scale weigh in is 21.6 lbs and he is 30.5" long. He crawled on Tuesday for the first time so maybe he will start working off some of that fat! I just love those big brown eyes! He is such a sweet boy!

Not only can he play the drums he can also play the piano. So talented ;)

He will stand up and play with his bear now. What a big boy!
