It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas!!!

It's No snowman building weather but it looks like we'll have a white Christmas this year!
At 4 pm our front yard has drifts as tall as our porch. Right now {6 pm} they are even taller!

Behind our house there are at least 6' drifts. The wind is crazy today but it does look beautiful!

Santa Thinks He's Naughty!

Looks like someone might be getting coal in his stocking this year! He wasn't very nice to Santa so he may have been moved to the naughty list. Grandma told him it's ok cause what Santa doesn't bring him Grandma will...Imagine that!
After he calmed down from the fit grandma tricked him by backing up all the way to Santa so we could get a good picture before he noticed the scary guy in the red suit! Yeah grandma!!!

13 Months & Counting...

I have been a major slacker when it comes to my blog lately! My camera has been messed up and life has been super busy. Tristan is still not walking but seems like he could at any moment. He took 2 steps on November 5 and it freaked him out so now he's not so sure that walking sounds like much fun. He is however into EVERYTHING!!! Climbing on anything in site and diving off it when he's ready to get down. He is such a boy! Everyday he adds a scrape or bruise!
We spent Thanksgiving at mom and dad's and got some good pics of the boys! Tristan thinks his cuz is something special!!!

One Year Ago Today...Happy Birthday Tristan!!!

On November 2, 2008 at 3:30 am our real journey began. At 6:52 pm Rich and I welcomed our gift from God into this world and what a blessing he has been! I remember that day like it was yesterday and can't believe our little guy is already one. He has changed our lives in so many ways and I pray everyday that we get to share him for at least another 70 years!
On this day we both found out what true love really was! And for us his name was Tristan Kole Blanco! I hope he always knows just how much we wanted him and how much we love him!

I will never forget the first time I ever laid eyes on him! I wish I could relive it over and over. Please God let him be mommy's little boy forever!!!

1 Year Pics!

One year ago today I was VERY IMPATIENTLY awaiting the arrival of my overdue baby boy! Nothing could have prepared me for the way this kid would change my life. He has been such a blessing and I can't imagine life without him! We had his 1 year pics taken a little early and there was no way I could wait 2 weeks to post them! He is so grown up now!
This is my favorite! I love the grin on his face. I get that a lot!

He is making car noises cause he is driving! He can be pushing lids and cups across the floor and he has to be making his vroom noises...what a boy!

11 Months Old (A little late)

We went to the dr. today to have his iron re-checked (it was low last month) and he weighed 24 lbs. 4 oz. And his iron is good now! He is getting to be such a big boy and even more of a mess.
I am NOT ready for my little guy to be 1!

He now thinks it's funny not to smile at me when I have the camera out. Really irritating for someone like me who thinks I need to capture everything on camera. I hope he grows out of that phase before his 1 year pics. Until then just get used to smiles from the side when he doesn't know the camera is out :)
