Tristan and Jaxston

Look at the size difference! Tristan looks like a giant compared to Jaxston. He is checking him out thinking I bet someday we are gonna cause lots of trouble together!

Tristan has a new friend. Jaxston will be staying with us during the day now. He is almost 6 weeks old. His mommy works with Tristan's daddy. He is so tiny and sweet. I had already forgotten what it was like when T was that little. He is barely bigger right now than when Tristan was born.
Yesterday was his first day with us and Tristan wasn't sure what to think about him. Every time I would pick up the baby Tristan would stare at me and whine. But today was much better. As you can see by the picture Tristan officially approves and is willing to share his mommy for a few hours a day. I think in no time they will be great friends!

We love our floor time! It won't be long and he will be crawling all over the place. Uh oh!
I think his pj's say it all. He is the boss around here and he knows it!

Another Day at the Park

Dad fed the ducks while Tristan, Chuch and I watched. The ducks weren't to crazy about Chuchy. The were all hissing at him!

We even rode the train. It goes around twice and at the end of the second time around he finally started enjoying it.

This is his swing in our back yard. The evenings have been so nice we have been spending as much time outside as possible. He loves being outside!

Makenzie Nikole is 2!

Tristan's cousin Makenzie turned 2 and we went to her birthday party in Joplin at an indoor Jumping Gym. The kids and some of the adults even had a blast jumping until they were all wore out. Tristan wasn't quite big enough to join in on all the fun but there is always next year!

We never have any pics together because I am always the one behind the camera. But this weekend we actually had a few!
He is definitely a mommas boy and I wouldn't change a thing!

Another Weekend Trip

We are getting ready to leave for another weekend away. Rich's niece just turned 2 and the whole family is getting together in Joplin, Mo for a birthday party. We haven't all been together in awhile because everyone is so spread apart. There are 16 kids on that side of the family including Tristan so it should be fun! We had a blast last weekend but we had terrible luck so I am hoping this weekend goes better. Last weekend on the way to Dallas we had car trouble and while we were there our dog sliced his paw which traumatized him. Not to mention we lost our money at the horse races! Wish us luck! I will post pics soon.
