Going to the BIG D and do mean Dallas!

Headed to Dallas to see grandma and papa. As you can see Baylor was being a turd for the picture but don't let him fool ya he was a really big help with the kids all the way there. We were glad we had him with us!
We went shopping and Baylor found he and Tristan matching hats. Safari boys!

The kids got a little pool to splash around in and cool off. Tristan was more interested in the dog that kept coming up for a drink.

Baylor Says The Darndest Things!

Episode 2: We are going to grandma and papa's today. We are riding with Donna, Leslie, Baleigh and baby Reese to Dallas to visit mom and dad. I have been packing and getting things ready all morning and Baylor has been helping out here and there. He asked me where we would sleep since all the other girls will be there. So I told him that the 3 of us would have a slumber party in the living room. He said that will be cool. We can have popcorn, beef jerky and pop...Cause grandma is like an animal she stores food! You never run out of pop and snacks at grandma's house! So animal grandma here we come!

The Boys Got A New Pool

Grandma sent the boys money for a new pool. We got it Monday and it was filled up by Tuesday morning. It was also full of june bugs! About 200 of them. We don't have a net yet so Baylor fished them all out with a bowl. It took a while but he got it cleaned out.
Tristan just played with Kane and watched his cuz clean the pool out. It was still a little cold for him!

Baylor swam all day yesterday! T and I waited for daddy to get home thinking that the pool would be warmer by then and daddy had never seen him in the pool. I had just told Rich how earlier I had gone outside and felt the water and it was much warmer now. So he and Baylor headed out to hop in. Baylor went first and suddenly the pool over flowed! Flooding the whole backyard and the neighbors yard too. We weren't sure why but Baylor asked me to turn on the hose to fill it back up. As I walked to the faucet Baylor realized that it was already on...apparently he and Ryan thought that the pool needed a little more water about 3 hours earlier and left the hose on all that time so the pool got to full and that is what caused the tidal wave. Oh and so much for being much warmer! It was now freezing cold again!

We all braved the cold and had a great time!

Tristan and I got out and Rich and Baylor played volleyball for a couple more hours.

Baylor Says The Darndest Things!

Everyday Baylor says something that has me crackin' up so I thought that while he is here for the summer I will add Baylor Says The Darndest Things to my blog. Maybe not every day but knowing him I will have something good pretty often. He doesn't know I will be writing about him so none of it will be for show. This is all stuff he really comes up with. He is a goofball!

Episode 1: Baylor Says The Darndest Things


As you may know I have been babysitting a 2 month old baby and for the most part he is a really good baby. But this week he has been sick with an ear ache and very fussy. Today has been rough because the baby seems to get fussy just when Tristan is hungry or tired and therefor fussy himself. So as both babies were letting me know that they were not happy Baylor said...I would rather be with a spotted hyena with all my bones broke than hear these babies cry!

And with that brought some laughter to my otherwise stressful day. Gotta love him!

Rockstar!

Baylor: Can you spike my hair again today?
Brooke: Ya why?
Baylor: Cause I think it makes me look cooler when I rock out on guitar hero!
And I must be pretty handsome!
Brooke: Why?
Baylor: Cause I have already had 3 girlfriends in my life and another girl always hitted on me but I already had another girlfriend! I probably won't get to have a girlfriend this summer since you're babysitting me.

Chuchy's Summer Shave

Fat dog with a little head! Chuch got shaved for the summer and boy does he look silly! Baylor didn't know if he was the same dog and Clay said he was the ugliest thing he has ever seen shaved! Clay also said he looks like the guy in Beetlejuice who got his head shrunk :)

So he will just jump up in his lap and try for a bite that way!

BOOMER SOONERS

You can't really tell in these pics but both boys have mohawks here. Baylor, his dad and his step brother all cut their hair into mohawks when they went on vacation. And since the boys both had their ou stuff on Baylor thought it would be cool to do Tristans hair in a mohawk like his and take pictures. I didn't know at the time that the reason he wanted to do this is because he thinks he(Baylor) looks pretty awesome with his mohawk all spiky! He had a real swagger with his hair all spiked up. He would walk down the hall were there is a full length mirror on the wall and walk past it, then stop and turn around and say "Who is that good looking guy?" or "Dang I look GOOD!" And he would do it even when he didn't think I was watching so it wasn't just a show for me he really thought he was something else!

Notice how he is all leaned back :) and Tristan is thinking I can't wait to be big enough to act like him! Uh Oh!

Since we can't go to the pool everyday and he loves the water we'll just go swimming in the tub. He started off sitting in his floaty the right way but he got tired and was leaning back so I laid him down in it and he liked that even better. Just relaxin' and kicking the water.

Rich is gonna ruin him before summer is over! He already has him wearing a Florida State hat and doing the tomahawk chop. Baylor thinks its ok because he is indian! Clay told Baylor to take that "trash" off his head before they went home but he is wearing it again. Uh Oh! Tristan got a new hat too. It's hard to find hats to fit his little head! Cute cousins! Tristan loves sitting on the couch with Bay watching cartoons and playing with all the fun toys. We sure are glad to have Baylor here!
