Running Fun!

We have a fun new game that wears me out way faster than it wears him out! He chases me in his walker from the kitchen to the living room and then back again.
Sometimes he gets stuck in a corner but he is pretty good about getting out of a jam.

He is actually better than me at forward and reverse to get out of a tight spot!

When he chases me to the kitchen I hide behind the bar and jump out to scare him when he gets there. He loves it!

He is running! He has to grab the sides of the walker and bear down to hall butt!

A Little Of This & A Little Of That!

My blog posts seem to keep getting fewer and far between thanks to my oh so mobile son! Lately I have found that I don't have near as much time for things like blogging, laundry & cleaning because I am constantly chasing him! I could put him in his walker and know that he couldn't leave the dining room while I got things done...That was until yesterday when he learned that if he used his muscles to pull up real hard on his walker toy he could get on the carpet and even walk on it. Uh Oh! Now he has no boundaries.
He is such a mess! He loves lasagna so much he wanted a lasagna uni brow!

Along with being a mess he is a major BRAT! Don't know who may have contributed to that??? He fake coughs for attention and fake cries! This is his fake cry face. He must have really been wanting something out of daddy!

The Great Debate...Cherokee or Seminole!

Mom says Cherokee cause it's in his blood but dad says Seminole cause he thinks it will be in his blood(he thinks he will grow up to choose the noles over the sooners...not taking into consideration that I spend every waking hour with him and do intend to make sure he is a sooner fan for life!) Aunt Tam got him and Elzee Indian feathers and drums. Gram had these pics on her camera. This one cracks me up! His silly face and his fat role sitting on the drum!

Awww Home Sweet Home!

Last week we were in Beaver for 2 days, OKC for 3 days and at Great Wolf Lodge for 2 days. We had a lot of fun but we sure are glad to be home! I think he missed his daddy...What do you think???
They read all his new books that Grandma got him. Tristan thinks his dad is pretty great!

And he got caught up on all of the Yo Gabba Gabba episodes that he missed. Yes he already has a favorite tv show! It's the only thing he will sit still for so we have to DVR them.

Here he is trying to hit his dad. He has a club in each hand. Such a boy!

He had to go to the doctor today. He has been sick since Friday night. We found out he has a cold and a stomach bug. I hate to see him sick but I sure do like to snuggle him! Hopefully the antibiotic will work fast and he'll be back to his ornery self in no time!

Going To The Lodge...Great Wolf Lodge!

We went to Great Wolf Lodge for 2 days with Grandma and Baylor and had lots of fun! It had an indoor and outdoor water park, arcade, treasure hunt and restaurants right there in the hotel.
And tons of cute photo ops we had to take!

It's so sweet how much they love each other...Baylor did say Tristan was the cutest baby ever but shhhh we won't tell his little sister that ;)

Tristan wasn't sure about the water park at first because it was really loud but by the second day he was loving it! Crawling around in the water like a big boy!

Baylor even talked me into going down a big slide with him. We took some pics with the water proof camera on our way down. Hopefully they turn out. He said I would scream and I did! The water was hitting my face so hard it was peeling my eyes open. I didn't do that again!!!

They were playing on the jet skis and banana boat.

This was story time at the big clock tower. We didn't stay for the whole story cause there were so many people there you couldn't even hear it very well but what we did see Tristan really liked.

Introducing Magi Master Baylor! If you bought a wand you could go on a treasure hunt all over the 8 floors of the hotel. Waving your wand at treasure chests and magic crystals to earn points. But you had to use the stairs...So we were all really tired by day 2!

No slides for Tristan but he did get to try out a tube with cuz!

We were about to head home so we had to get a pic with their wolves.

I think next year he'll really love it!

Papa came to visit us in the evening. Tristan sure had been missing his Papa! He loved his quality time!

Baylor said since his won't fit on his head he will just eat cereal out of it :)

We're off to Great Wolf Lodge tomorrow! We'll definitely be ready for some R & R when we get back Thursday night! More pics to come!
